Hay Making

 

On Saturday 4th October there will be a special work party to rake up all the hay and grass cut from the meadow during September. This is an annual event and an essential aspect of managing the meadow. As a special “thank you” to all who take part, the Friends will provide a ploughman’s lunch at 12.30pm so it would be wonderful to see some of our members coming along to lend a hand and to meet the regular volunteers. The Management Team would certainly appreciate the extra hands!
